Heather Ryan

Headshot 1_edited_edited.jpg

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Heather is aware of how hard it is for any individual to speak about personal struggles with someone who is new to them. Because of this she works diligently to make every individual feel as comfortable as possible when they are brave enough to come in for treatment. She feels it is a privilege to walk alongside her clients through some of life’s greatest challenges and then to help them thrive.

Heather has 20+ years of experience as a nurse with a strong background in various medical issues. She graduated from ASU with her doctoral degree in 2019. She has extensive postgraduate training in the fields of trauma, attachment, mindfulness, and psychiatric treatment for women during pregnancy, and postpartum. She works collaboratively with her clients and their therapists, considering both medical and non-medical approaches to treatment including supplements and lifestyle changes.
